IT-workshop is directed towards young adults. In the workshop, they get familiar with network communication and photo editing as well as using other software. They also learn to perform miscellaneous IT-tasks and install Linux systems in  dismantled computers.

Everyone passing the ECDL-test can buy these re-installed computers with one euro.

We provide computer training for the unemployed in Helsinki area. Also people in the Uusix-workshops can of course take part in this training. The aim is to maintain and improve practical computer skills. The beginners can perform an E-citizen passport, which requires basic knowledge like using e-mail and finding information in the internet.

In the follow-up training people get familiar with Microsoft Office programs and reinforce their present skills. In the computer department, it’s also possible to study the Linux system.
